The multipurpose vessel with deadweight of 4,300 metric tons is designed to transport general cargo and containerized cargo, including refrigerated containers (the vessel’s fixed equipment ensures a constant connection and maintains the specified temperature throughout the entire voyage). The vessel also complies with transport safety standards for the carriage of dangerous goods, including Class 1 cargo. It is a twin-deck vessel, which significantly increases the usable space in its holds—a factor that is particularly important for transporting general cargo with stacking restrictions. The high permissible loads in the holds allow for the loading of even the heaviest 20-foot containers. Two shipboard cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 60 metric tons, can handle the loading and unloading of heavy cargo even in the absence of port infrastructure.
