28.10.2024

In the section "Marine vessels" the "Captains" tab is open with the identification data of more than three dozen ship captains involved in the export of stolen Ukrainian grain from the temporarily occupied territories.

Captains, as the most important persons on board a ship, are responsible for the cargo and its safety. According to the ship's documents (bills of lading), the captain has all the information about the cargo and its owner. It is the captains who, in violation of international law and the SOLAS Convention, disable and manipulate the AIS system, carry out STS transmissions with sanctioned vessels and cargo, escort vessels to closed ports of sanctioned countries, the TOT of Ukraine, enter inaccurate information in the log of routes, vessel berths, etc.

They can refuse to commit illegal acts, but they choose to make money on war and suffering.
By revealing their names, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reminds that responsibility and punishment will catch up with everyone.

The next are captains of vessels transporting weapons for russia, fossil fuels and other goods through international waters and straits in violation of sanctions restrictions.
