Belongs to the sanctioned russian leading construction company Transstroy LLC, operating in the Arctic and northern regions of russia for the implementation of large-scale energy projects in the russian federation. Among the customers are PJSC Lukoil, PJSC Novatek, PJSC Severalmaz, PJSC AK Alrosa, State Corporation Rosatom, JSC Rosgeologiya, JSC Ekspeditsiya № 2, JSC Sovfracht, and others. The vessel is also affiliated with the sanctioned russian company Eco Shipping LLC, which carries out shipping and water transportation related to the construction of infrastructure facilities in the Arctic zone of the russian federation, including for the Arctic LNG-2 project of the sanctioned company Novatek for the extraction of natural gas and the production of liquefied natural gas.
In May 2024, USA imposed sanctions on the vessels of Transstroy LLC, which are actively used by russian companies engaged in the industrial development of the Arctic coast.
