With the participation of the Marine Rescue Service, several models of unmanned aerial vehicles have been developed to operate in the Far North to obtain information about the environment around drilling rigs and vessels. The institution is implementing a joint project with oil and gas companies to monitor ice conditions and manage ice operations to ensure the operation of offshore drilling rigs in the Barents and Kara Seas.
It is an active participant in the russian public procurement system.
