The multifunctional engineering vessel is designed to carry out research and inspection work on the continental shelf and in deep water areas of the seas and oceans. The vessel is equipped with a dynamic positioning system, a heavy worker remotely operated underwater vehicle complex, high-precision underwater navigation and bottom mapping systems.
It was used in the construction of the Nord Stream 2 export gas pipeline.
