Since 2025 the tanker has been used to export russian petroleum products from the port of Novorossiysk to third countries during the period when the G7 and EU oil embargoes and price cap policies on russian oil and petroleum products have been in effect.
From 2025 through September 2026, the vessel exported at least 450,000 metric tons of russian fuel from the port of Novorossiysk to Turkey, Senegal, the UAE, and other countries.
The tanker calls at the Sheskharis terminal in the port of Novorossiysk, which is a transshipment complex and the end point of the main pipelines of JSC Chernomortransneft (TIN 2315072242, under US sanctions) — a subsidiary of the sanctioned russian company Transneft (TIN 7706061801).

During the G7 and EU oil embargo and price cap policy on russian crude oil/petroleum products, the vessel is involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products.
In September 2025, the tanker transported more than 50,000 tons of russian oil from the port of Novorossiysk to Romania and Turkey.

During the period when the G7 and EU oil embargo and the price cap policy on russian crude oil and petroleum products were in effect, the vessel was involved in the export of light-grade russian petroleum products from russian Black Sea ports to Senegal and Turkey.
In August 2025, the tanker transported nearly 38,000 tons of petroleum products from the Sheshkharis terminal in the port of Novorossiysk to the port of Dakar (Senegal). The Sheshkharis terminal is a transshipment complex, the end point of the main pipelines of JSC Chernomortransneft (TIN 2315072242, under US sanctions) — a subsidiary of the sanctioned russian company Transneft (TIN 7706061801).

During the G7 and EU oil embargo and price cap policy on russian crude oil/petroleum products, the tanker is involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products to third countries. In particular, in September 2025, the tanker transported almost 30,000 tons of petroleum products from the Sheshkharis terminal in the port of Novorossiysk (russian federation) to the port of Poti (Georgia), and two shipments of russian petroleum ptoducts (a total of almost 30,000 tons) to Turkey. The Sheshkharis terminal is a transshipment complex, the end point of the main pipelines of JSC Chernomortransneft (TIN 2315072242, under US sanctions) — a subsidiary of the sanctioned russian company Transneft (TIN 7706061801).
The vessel calls at ports in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, in particular the port of Kerch in October 2025.
The tanker is managed by the Turkish company Srediste Shipping Gemi. Srediste Shipping Gemi also operates the vessel IMO 9236975, which is involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products under western sanctions and calls at ports in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

In August 2025, the vessel transported approximately 23,500 tons of russian wet cargo from the russian port of Novorossiysk (RF) to a third country.
The tanker is involved in the transportation of Iranian oil/petroleum products. Since the russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the imposition of Western restrictions on russian crude oil/petroleum products, the tanker has been involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products under restrictive conditions.

In June 2025, the tanker transported nearly 30,000 tons of russian petroleum products from the Sheskharis terminal in the port of Novorossiysk (russian federation) to the port of Marmara Ereglisi (Turkey).
In August 2025, the ship transported 30,000 tons of russian petroleum products from the port of Tuapse (russia) to the port of Aliaga (Turkey). The shipper was the sanctioned russian company Rosneft.
In September 2025, the ship transported nearly 30,000 tons of russian petroleum products from the port of Novorossiysk (russia) to the port of Aliaga (Turkey) and nearly 30,000 tons of russian petroleum products from the Sheshkharis terminal in the port of Novorossiysk to the port of Batumi (Georgia).

During the G7 and EU oil embargo and price cap policy on russian crude oil/petroleum products, the tanker is involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products to third countries since 2025, in particular, in the interests of PJSC NOVATEK.
In July-August 2025, the vessel transported about 20,000 tons of russian petroleum products from the Sheshkharis terminal in the port of Novorossiysk (russian federation) to the port of Lomé (Togo). The Sheshkharis terminal is a transshipment complex, the end point of the main pipelines of JSC Chernomortransneft (TIN 2315072242, under US sanctions) — a subsidiary of the sanctioned russian company Transneft (TIN 7706061801).

During the period of the G7 and EU oil embargo and the price cap policy on russian crude oil/petroleum products, the tanker is involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products from russian ports in the Baltic and Black Seas.
From April 2023 to December 2024, the tanker is affiliated with the Cypriot company Cymare Shipmanagement Ltd (IMO 5883981, registration number: HE 309832). Cymare Shipmanagement Ltd is managed by: Andrei Hudzasvili (citizen of the Republic of Estonia) – director; Nikolay Spichenok (citizen of the United Kingdom) – director; Victoria Orlova Papaduri (citizen of the Republic of Cyprus) – serves as both director and secretary. A. Hudzasvili and N. Spichenok are also directors of the affiliated Cypriot company Cymare Crew Ltd (ΗΕ 359400). In addition, N. Spichenok is a director of Peremoga Investment Ltd (registration number: ΗΕ 300440) and a director of SCF Management Services (Cyprus) Ltd (registration number: HE 42739). From 2012 to 2015, N. Spichenok served as director of the technical fleet management department of the sanctioned company PJSC Sovcomflot. Sovcomflot PJSC is russia's largest state-owned shipping company providing services for offshore hydrocarbon production and transportation of russian crude oil, petroleum products, and liquefied natural gas. Sovcomflot PJSC's main charterers are russia's largest oil and gas companies and traders. Sovcomflot PJSC participates in servicing major oil and gas projects in russia: Sakhalin-1, Sakhalin-2, Varandey, Prirazlomnoye, Novy Port, Yamal LNG, and others.
Since May 2025, the tanker has been operated by the Turkish company Sand Gemi Isletmeciligi As. Sand Gemi Isletmeciligi As is affiliated with the management of tankers in the russian shadow fleet (in particular, IMO 9273442, IMO 9337327, IMO 9265756, IMO 9299886, IMO 9308132), which belonged to the fleets of three other Turkish companies: Beks Tanker Isletmeciligi As, Beks Gemi Isletmeciligi Ve Tic, and Modern Gemi Isletmeciligi As, which were leaders in the shadow transportation of russian petroleum products from January 2023 to February 2024.

During the G7 and EU oil embargo and price cap policy on russian crude oil/petroleum products, the tanker is involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products.
In early February 2025, there was an explosion on board off the coast of Libya, which caused significant damage to the ship and required a rescue operation. In early January 2025, the ship called at the russian port of St. Petersburg, as well as at the Portenergo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga.
The vessel belongs to the fleet of Cymare Navigation FZC (UAE). This company is linked through a group of tankers to a Cypriot company with a similar name — Cymare Shipmanagement Ltd (IMO 5883981, registration number: HE 309832). Cymare Shipmanagement Ltd is managed by: Andrei Hudzasvili (citizen of the Republic of Estonia) – director; Nikolay Spichenok (citizen of the United Kingdom) – director; Victoria Orlova Papaduri (citizen of the Republic of Cyprus) – serves as both director and secretary. Since September 2025, the vessel has been owned and operated by Tanker Trade Ltd (IMO 0332883), incorporated in the Marshall Islands, at an address widely used for registering companies that own/manage tankers in the russian shadow fleet.

The tanker makes port calls to the ports of the temporarily occupied territory (TOT) of Ukraine.
The vessel is affiliated with Enea LLC (ООО "Энея", TIN 6164136080), a russian company linked to the sanctioned Jamaldin Pashayev. Enea LLC is involved in covert deliveries–including aviation fuel–to Syria on behalf of the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation. Since October 2024, the company has been headed by Magomed Aliyevich Abdulatipov (TIN 053689064586), who previously served as the head of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Administration of Caspian Sea Ports".
The tanker’s owner since March 2021 is SBK Dolina LLC (ООО "СБК Долина", TIN 7714420564), founded by LSCapital LLC (ООО "ЛСКепитал", TIN 7703426420). The beneficiaries of LSCapital since April 11, 2022, are Aslan Dzhamaldinovich Pashayev (TIN 771917667217, 75%) and Oleksandr Ivanovych Lapko (TIN 771515523462, 25%). Pashayev serves as CEO of LSCapital, while Lapko heads SBK Dolina. SBK Dolina is associated with Sberbank, which held the vessel as collateral at the time of its sale by the previous owner.
Aslan Pashayev is likely the son of Dzhamaldin Emirmagomedovich Pashayev, a sanctioned businessman from Astrakhan who owns and controls a network of russian shipping companies operating out of the port of Olya, Astrakhan region.
Enterprises linked to Dzhamaldin Pashayev have been involved in russian military exports since 2021, concluding over 200 contracts for the maritime transport of military cargo worldwide. Pashayev and his companies are a key component in the logistics chain supplying aircraft and components to the sanctioned Special Economic Zone "Alabuga" (ОЭЗ "Алабуга"), one of the main UAV assembly facilities for the russian Ministry of Defense, supported by Iran.
Dzhamaldin Pashayev is also affiliated with the sanctioned shipping company MG-Flot LLC (ООО "МГ-Флот"), whose vessels are engaged in transporting weapons from Syria, Iran, and North Korea to russia, as well as carrying Iranian oil.

The tanker, during the period of the G7 and EU oil embargo and the price cap policy on russian crude oil and petroleum products, has been involved in the export of russian petroleum products, including through STS transfers near European countries. The vessel has been turning off its AIS and engaging in dark activities in the Kerch Strait area, near russian ports in the Black Sea.
In March 2023, the tanker exported a total of nearly 268,500 barrels of petroleum products (sold by PJSC Oil Company "Rosneft") from the port of Taman to Tunisia (the port of La Skhirra).
In August 2023, on behalf of GMS Trading Middle East DMCC, the tanker IMO 9374416 was used to export a shipment of russian petroleum products (nearly 30,000 tons, respectively) from the russian port of Tuapse to Turkey; the shipper of the cargo was the sanctioned russian company PJSC Oil Company Rosneft.
In December 2023, the vessel exported in total almost 268,500 barrels of russian petroleum products (sold by PJSC "Surgutneftegaz") from the port of Ust-Luga to Jamaica.
In July 2024, the tanker exported over 246,000 barrels of russian petroleum products (sold by PJSC Oil Company Rosneft) from the port of Tuapse to a transshipment area near Greece, where in August 2024 it carried out an STS transfer of cargo to tanker IMO 9247443 (under sanctions since May 2025).
In August 2024, the tanker exported nearly 268,500 barrels of russian petroleum products (sold by PJSC Oil Company "Rosneft") from the port of Tuapse to Turkey.
In March 2025, the tanker IMO 9374416 exported approximately 224,000 barrels of russian petroleum products (sold by PJSC Oil Company "Rosneft") from the port of Tuapse to Ivory Coast, where it performed an STS transfer to tanker IMO 9607643.
In May 2025, the vessel exported approximately 224,000 barrels of russian petroleum products (seller: PJSC Oil Company "Rosneft") from the port of Taman to Egypt (port of El Dekheila).
In July 2025, the vessel exported approximately 224,000 barrels of russian petroleum products (seller: PJSC Oil Company "Rosneft") from the port of Tuapse to Turkey (OPET Mersin Terminal).
In August 2025, the tanker exported nearly 224,000 barrels of russian petroleum products (sold by PJSC Oil Company "Rosneft") from the port of Tuapse to Turkey.
In September 2025, the tanker exported two shipments of russian petroleum products (sold by PJSC Oil Company "Rosneft") 268,499 and 223,835 thousand barrels from the port of Tuapse to Turkey (Mersin) and to Libya (Zawia Refinery), respectively.
In January 2026, the tanker exported nearly 235,000 barrels of russian petroleum products (sold by PJSC Oil Company "Rosneft") from the port of Tuapse to a transshipment area near Cyprus, where it performed an STS transfer with tanker IMO 9243318.
In addition, according to available information, the tanker was involved in shipments of petroleum products to russia in the period of the fuel crisis. The tanker IMO 9374416 delivered in late August 2026 nearly 27,000 metric tons of gasoline to the Vitino oil terminal (Port of Kandalaksha). This cargo was received in the waters near Ceuta from the tanker IMO 9587831 via a ship-to-ship transfer. The tanker IMO 9587831, in turn, had been loaded with fuel at the Turkish port of Mersin.

During the period when the G7 and EU oil embargoes and the price cap policy on russian crude oil and petroleum products were in effect, the tanker was involved in the export of russian crude oil and petroleum products from russian ports.
The vessel calls at ports in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Specifically, the tanker was in the port of Sevastopol from October 19 to November 16, 2023.
Since April 2024, the tanker has been making voyages between russian and Iranian ports (Astrakhan, Olya, Amirabad, Bandar-e-Anzali, Freidoon Kenar).
