Vessel masters have all the information about the cargo and its owner, and are responsible for disabling/manipulating the AIS* system, STS** transfer with sanctioned vessels and cargo, entering closed ports of aggressor countries, the temporary occupied territories of Ukraine, entering inaccurate information in the logbook of routes, berths, etc. They do this voluntarily, having the opportunity to refuse illegal actions.

*AIS (Automatic identification systems) is a system that automatically transmits coordinates, identification data and other information about a vessel to other vessels and coastal authorities.

**STS (ship-to-ship) - the transfer of cargo between two ships that are close to each other, both while they are at anchor and while they are moving.
