Alfa-Bank issued loans to the Chelyabinsk radio plant Polet, which produces aviation equipment, including for the benefit of the Ministry of Defence; and Oboronstroy, which is engaged in the construction of the Ministry of Defence facilities; NPO Iskra, which develops and produces solid fuel engines for missile systems; NPO Pribor, which produces ammunition; Proton-PM, which produces engines for combat aircraft and tanks; and Uraltransmash, which modernises self-propelled howitzers. The bank provided a loan to the Ural Optical-Mechanical Plant, which produces optical-location systems for Su-27, Su-35, MiG-29 aircraft and their modifications and a surveillance and search system for installation on Mi-17 (Mi-8) and Mi-24 helicopters.
