The vessel calls at ports in the TOT of Ukraine and is involved in the export of russian petroleum products from russian Black Sea ports.
In April 2022, as part of the restrictions imposed on Alfa-Bank JSC, russia's largest private financial institution providing financial services to russian defense industry enterprises, the US imposed sanctions on five ships (including IMO 9784893) affiliated with Alfa-Leasing LLC, a subsidiary of Alfa-Bank JSC.
Since November 24, 2022, the owner and manager of the vessel has been the russian shipping company BM-Flot LLC (TIN 3000002959, Astrakhan).
In June 2025, Canada imposed sanctions on the vessel.
Since September 12, 2025, the United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on the vessel.
Since December 19, 2025, the EU has imposed sanctions on the vessel.
Since January 13, 2026, Switzerland has imposed sanctions on the vessel.
On September 24, 2026, Australia imposed sanctions on the vessel.
