During the period of the G7 and EU oil embargo and the price cap policy on russian crude oil/petroleum products, the tanker is involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products from russian ports in the Baltic and Black Seas.
From April 2023 to December 2024, the tanker is affiliated with the Cypriot company Cymare Shipmanagement Ltd (IMO 5883981, registration number: HE 309832). Cymare Shipmanagement Ltd is managed by: Andrei Hudzasvili (citizen of the Republic of Estonia) – director; Nikolay Spichenok (citizen of the United Kingdom) – director; Victoria Orlova Papaduri (citizen of the Republic of Cyprus) – serves as both director and secretary. A. Hudzasvili and N. Spichenok are also directors of the affiliated Cypriot company Cymare Crew Ltd (ΗΕ 359400). In addition, N. Spichenok is a director of Peremoga Investment Ltd (registration number: ΗΕ 300440) and a director of SCF Management Services (Cyprus) Ltd (registration number: HE 42739). From 2012 to 2015, N. Spichenok served as director of the technical fleet management department of the sanctioned company PJSC Sovcomflot. Sovcomflot PJSC is russia's largest state-owned shipping company providing services for offshore hydrocarbon production and transportation of russian crude oil, petroleum products, and liquefied natural gas. Sovcomflot PJSC's main charterers are russia's largest oil and gas companies and traders. Sovcomflot PJSC participates in servicing major oil and gas projects in russia: Sakhalin-1, Sakhalin-2, Varandey, Prirazlomnoye, Novy Port, Yamal LNG, and others.
Since May 2025, the tanker has been operated by the Turkish company Sand Gemi Isletmeciligi As. Sand Gemi Isletmeciligi As is affiliated with the management of tankers in the russian shadow fleet (in particular, IMO 9273442, IMO 9337327, IMO 9265756, IMO 9299886, IMO 9308132), which belonged to the fleets of three other Turkish companies: Beks Tanker Isletmeciligi As, Beks Gemi Isletmeciligi Ve Tic, and Modern Gemi Isletmeciligi As, which were leaders in the shadow transportation of russian petroleum products from January 2023 to February 2024.

On October 15, 2025, the United Kingdom imposed sanctions on the tanker in connection with the transportation of oil or petroleum products of russian origin from russia to a third country.
From August 2023 to September 2025, tanker IMO 9323364 was affiliated with the Indian company Peninsular Maritime India Pvt. Ltd. The Peninsular Maritime India Pvt. Ltd fleet includes shadow fleet tankers, in particular, the tanker IMO 9329760, which is involved in the transportation of russian crude oil/petroleum products from russian ports in the Baltic Sea, engaging in deceptive shipping practices in the Baltic Sea, used by russia as a spy platform, aimed at observing NATO naval and air activities, involved in sabotage activities in the Baltic Sea, detained on December 26, 2024, by the competent authority of Finland on suspicion of breaking the Estlink 2 submarine cable with its anchor on December 25, 2024.
Since December 19, 2025, the EU has imposed sanctions on the vessel.
Since January 13, 2026, Switzerland has imposed sanctions on the vessel.
On February 12, 2026, Ukraine imposed sanctions on the vessel.
