Vessel information
The tanker calls at the ports of the TOT of Crimea (Kerch, Zaliv), systematically engages in dark activities in the area of the Kerch Strait, TOT of Crimea of Ukraine, near russian ports in the Azov and Black Seas.
The tanker is involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products, in the Kerch Strait area it bunkers the tanker IMO 9224441, involved in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products, affiliated, in particular, through the sanctioned Sun Ship Management, SCF Management Services LTD with the sanctioned PJSC Sovcomflot, the largest state-owned shipping company in russia for servicing and supporting offshore hydrocarbon production, transportation of russian crude oil, petroleum products, liquefied natural gas, the main charterers of which are the largest oil and gas companies and traders in russia.
The technical manager of the vessel is the russian company Rodnie Polya LLC, which in 2025 was confiscated by the state due to non-compliance with russian legislation regarding foreign control over the company. Prior to the renaming, the company was called RIF Trading House and was one of the largest russian grain exporters, with a share in the grain transshipment market in the Azov seaport exceeding 20%, and therefore considered a strategic russian business entity.
On April 11, 2025, Ukraine imposed sanctions on the captain of vessel IMO 8862935.
