Vessel information
The vessel is involved in schemes to steal Ukrainian grain from the TOT of Crimea (Ukraine). In particular, the vessel used the STS method to load grain in the Kerch Strait from the russian vessels IMO 8721272, IMO 8959219, arrested in absentia by a Ukrainian court for participating in the transportation of Ukrainian grain stolen by russia from the TOT of Ukraine.
In 2024, the vessel continues to regularly engage in so-called 'dark' activities in the transshipment area in the Kerch Strait, which has been actively used by russia since 2023 to carry out STS transshipment with other vessels, in particular, to 'legalize' stolen Ukrainian grain and redirect it to third countries under the guise of grain of russian origin.
Since December 2022, the vessel has been affiliated with the Turkish company Alemax Denizcilik ve Gemi Isletmeciligi Ticaret Limited Sirketi, established in 2022 by russian Alexander Alekseev.
