Russian state corporation that produces tanks and other armoured military equipment. It is part of the Rostec state corporation. Uralvagonzavod modernises and produces T-72B3M, T-80BVM, T-90M "Proryv" tanks, armoured reconnaissance vehicles, armoured recovery vehicles, and regularly supplies military equipment to the russian army. In addition, Uralvagonzavod produces cars and semi-trailers, including under a contract with the russian ministry of defence for the transportation of personnel and military equipment. Since September 2022, Uralvagonzavod has been operating around the clock to meet the needs of the russian army. In addition, in 2022-2023, UVZ Group companies reduced production of civilian railcars in favour of military products.
