russia has been trying for centuries to destroy or appropriate Ukrainian history, erase the identity of the Ukrainian nation, and prove to the world that an independent Ukraine does not exist.
To achieve this, the aggressor conducts archaeological excavations in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, steals cultural heritage objects from museums, and appropriates Ukrainian culture.

the so-called "minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea"
Since 16 December 2021, she has been the so-called Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea. According to her official duties, Manezhina:
- implements the state targeted programmes of the russian federation, an element of which is the implementation of archaeological works in the territory of the Republic of Crimea, the illegal transfer of cultural property of Ukraine;
- Issues orders on approval of administrative regulations by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea for the provision of state services on issuing permits for the development of protection zones for cultural heritage sites of the Republic of Crimea;
- provides and facilitates the issuance of permits (open letters) for scientists to conduct archaeological work in the territory of the Republic of Crimea,
- provides funding and other material and technical support for the activities of archaeologists,
- holds meetings and substantive discussions with young people on contemporary cultural and youth policy in the russian federation.
Since 2016, T.A. Manezhina has been holding regular meetings on issues related to archaeological research of objects of cultural significance, in particular, the ‘Complex of the fortress and cave city "Mangup-Kale".
In 2022, as part of a working trip, she visited the Scythian Naples Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve, emphasising the importance of the complex of works carried out to improve and adapt the "object of cultural heritage of federal significance" for modern use, create tourist infrastructure and comfortable conditions for visitors.
Manezhina regularly attends, organises and supervises exhibitions and other events, such as the Crimean Scientific Readings dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Alupka Palace and Park Museum-Reserve in 2022.

The so-called "executive responsibilities minister of culture of Kherson Region"
Appointed by the occupation authorities as the so-called "acting Minister of Culture of the Kherson region". He facilitated the illegal removal of museum collections from the Kherson Museum of Cretaceous Art to the Tavrida Museum in Simferopol. In August 2023, Kuzmenko said that the museums of the region would be replenished with new exhibits.
As the so-called "acting Minister of Culture" and representative of the occupying authorities of the Kherson region, he ensures the implementation of the policy of indoctrination and integration into the educational and cultural space of russia for children and youth from temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine by supporting propagandist cultural and mass events in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region.
In particular, within the period from November 1, 2022, to December 1, 2023, as part of the implementation of the social and economic development program by the so-called "Ministry of Culture of the Kherson region" under the leadership of Alexander Kuzmenko, cultural and educational programs were organized and conducted in Moscow and St. Petersburg for 1,100 children from the Kherson region. The library funds of cultural institutions were also replenished through contributions from russian "chief regions," the All-russian Book Union, russian parties, and subsidies from the federal budget, with more than 1.1 million copies of books added.

In August 2023, Kuzmenko stated that libraries in the Kherson region were stocked with textbooks and books in russian, museums received exhibits, and music schools in the Kherson region started operating under new requirements. According to him, children began attending these educational institutions more often because playing works of russian classics is a great honor for them.
As part of cooperation with the minister of the Moscow government and the head of the Department of Culture of Moscow, he promotes the provision of budget places for students from the Kherson region in higher education institutions of culture and arts in Moscow.
