Bronze parts of germ locks

Mirmekiy is an ancient city located in eastern Crimea, on the territory of present-day Kerch. It was founded by Ionian Greeks in the second quarter to the middle of the 6th century and occupied an area of 6 hectares. Mirmekiy was one of the largest and most significant centers of the Bosporan Kingdom and played a key role in the trade and politics of the ancient world. The archaeological site is listed in the Register of Cultural Heritage Sites of National Significance according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated September 3, 2009, No. 928, under the number "010015-N".
After the occupation of Crimea in 2014, a russian archaeological expedition from the State Hermitage Museum carried out illegal excavations at the site and continues to do so to this day. The russian federation unlawfully appropriated the archaeological complex "Ancient City of Myrmekion" and included it in its own register of cultural heritage sites of federal significance according to the Order of the Government of the russian federation dated October 17, 2015, No. 2073-r. In 2022, the "Myrmekion Archaeological Expedition of the State Hermitage" discovered and seized a unique treasure — 30 gold coins, including 26 bearing the name of Alexander the Great and 4 minted during the reign of his brother Philip I.
