KRASNIKOV Gennady Yakovlevich

A scientist specializing in semiconductor physics and very-large-scale integration (VLSI) technology, author of more than 500 scientific publications, monographs, and patents. His personal research focuses on radiation-hardened electronic components for onboard rocket and space systems. Integrated circuits developed using his methods have been used in onboard systems of cruise missiles and ground-based computing systems for weapons platforms.
Participation in russian scientific organizations: President of the russian Academy of Sciences (RAN); Chairman of the RAN Scientific Councils on Quantum Technologies, Space, and Electronic Components; Head of russia's Interdepartmental Council of Chief Designers.

Participation in international cooperation:
- Member of the EMEA Leadership Council of the Global Semiconductor Alliance;
- Recipient of the UNESCO Medal for contributions to nanoscience and nanotechnology.
