The company is the lead enterprise of the reconnaissance information systems division of the Ruselectronics holding company. It specializes in creating airborne radar systems for surveillance, guidance and reconnaissance, aviation and space monitoring systems, and antenna equipment. It has carried out modernization work on A-50U airborne early warning and control aircraft, which russia uses in its war against Ukraine.
The concern's enterprises produce radio-electronic devices, communication systems, automated control systems, electronic warfare equipment, and other military and dual-use systems. In April 2024, the enterprise received license No. L052-00102-77/01115751 from the russian ministry of industry and trade for the maintenance of weapons and military equipment.
It is part of the Ruselectronics JSC holding company, a subsidiary of the russian state corporation Rostec. The holding's lead organization is United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation JSC.
