Reasons
russian Machine-Building Plant. It is a test base for all prototype engines produced by UEC-UMPO and their components.
The main areas of activity are the refinement of prototypes of gas-turbine engines, assembly of full-size products and individual modules, and testing of military turbojet engines. In the spring of 2013, bench-test endurance trials of the "117S" engine began in preparation for the Su-35's maiden flight. In 2016, the plant hosted the first ground launch of an engine for the russian Su-57 fighter jet.
As a branch of PJSC UEC-UMPO, it is a part of the United Engine Corporation holding of the russian state corporation Rostec.
