For instance, during a closed conference on the illegal removal (deportation) of Ukrainian children to the russian federation, Cherenkova reported that as of 07.07.2023, on the territory of temporarily occupied Luhansk region, the following children were being raised: 196 children in foster families, 83 in family-type children's homes, and over 2500 in guardianship families. Cherenkova noted that the percentage of children placed in family forms of upbringing is high, and the credit goes to the employees of the district departments.
