It carries out the so-called "military-patriotic" education of the youth of the TOT of Ukraine and prepares them for service in the armed forces of the russian federation. In particular, in March 2022, as part of an "educational program," it organized the transfer of children from the so-called "DPR" to the territory of the russian federation.
In February 2023, within the framework of the "russian Donbas" project, about 100 children "evacuated" from Donbas were sent to the Sofrinsky Brigade of the russian National Guard in the Moscow region (russia).
In August 2023, as part of the "Vacations with the rosgvardia" campaign, rosgvardia officers visited children from a summer camp in the village of Dmytrivka in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region of Ukraine. During their visit, the russian guard told the children about their service and the tasks they perform, demonstrated their uniforms, equipment, communications and personal armor protection, as well as an armored vehicle for personnel transportation.
In 2023, the rosgvardia initiated the creation of a specialized classroom in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region under the auspices of the rosgvardia and patriotic work with schoolchildren. This project provides for the possibility of further admission of graduates to higher education institutions of the rosgvardia.
It posts propaganda messages online about providing children from the temporarily occupied Donetsk region with humanitarian aid, including armbands with unit symbols, the departmental periodical "On a Battlefield Post", and books with works by russian and soviet poets and writers.
