Reasons
The management organisation of the special economic zone Alabuga, which is responsible for the interaction of the SEZ with the state authorities of the Russian Federation and support of investors in the zone. The sole founder is the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan. The production of Geran-1, Geran-2 and Gerbera UAVs has been organised on the territory of the SEZ. SEZ PPT ALABUGA JSC is directly involved in the organisation of this production, procurement and logistics of components, and the recruitment of personnel, including students of the educational institution of SEZ Alabuga Polytechnic. There is a training centre for UAV specialists Alabuga Start on the territory of the SEZ.
