Since July 2024, the tanker has been implicated in the export of russian crude oil/petroleum products from a russian port in the Pacific region, primarily to China, including through deceptive practices such as turning off its Automatic Identification System (AIS) in the waters of russia, South Korea, and China, and manipulating its reported location.
