The vessel has been implicated in schemes to steal Ukrainian grain from the temporarily occupied territory (TOT) of Crimea, Ukraine.
In 2024, the vessel has made frequent port calls at the ports of the TOT of Ukraine, engaging in the practice of disabling its Automatic Identification System (AIS) signal and conducting so-called "dark" activities in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
