The vessel belongs to the seismic survey fleet of the designated russian entity JSC Sevmorneftegeofizika (АО "Севморнефтегеофизика"), the largest offshore geophysical company in russia specialising in 2D/3D offshore seismic surveys, digital processing, and integrated interpretation of geological, geophysical, and seismic data. It is part of the designated state-owned multidisciplinary geological holding JSC Rosgeo (АО "Росгеология"). In russia, JSC Rosgeo and its subsidiaries provide a range of geophysical services for the prospecting and exploration of oil and gas fields and are controlled by the russian government.
