The vessel belongs to the seismic survey fleet of Sevmorneftegeofizyka, the largest offshore geophysical company in russia specialising in 2D/3D offshore seismic surveys, digital processing and integrated interpretation of geological, geophysical and seismic data, and is part of Rosgeologia, a state-owned multidisciplinary geological holding company. In russia, Rosgeologia and its subsidiaries provide a range of geophysical services for the prospecting and exploration of oil and gas fields, and are controlled by the russian government.
