During the period of the oil embargo and the G7+ countries’ price cap policy on russian crude oil and petroleum products, the tanker is used in 2025 and 2026 to export russian crude oil from the ports of Novorossiysk and Ust-Luga to India, specifically in the interests of PJSC Oil Company Rosneft.
The tanker belongs to the fleet of Dynacom Tankers Management Ltd. (DTM)—the leading international shipping company specializing in the commercial and technical management of tankers for the transport of crude oil and petroleum products. The company was founded in 1991 by Greek shipping magnate Georgios Prokopiou.
On September 13, 2026, Ukraine imposed sanctions on the vessel.
