The tanker is involved in the export of russian crude oil / petroleum products from russian ports on the Baltic and Black Seas during the period of the oil embargo and price cap policy on russian crude oil / petroleum products.
The vessel, without P&I insurance, is owned and operated by Qing Ju Shipping Ltd and Mei Zhou Dao Shipmanagement Co Ltd, respectively, both incorporated in Hong Kong.
On February 12, 2026, Ukraine imposed sanctions on the tanker.
On April, 2026, the EU imposed sanctions on the vessel.
