The tanker is involved in the transportation of Iranian petroleum products using deceptive, high-risk shipping practices.
In October 2022, the vessel loaded methanol of Iranian origin and discharged the cargo in the People's Republic of China. The tanker also carried out several loadings of petrochemical products of Iranian origin between 2022 and 2024, almost all of which took place while the vessel was engaged in dark activities with its AIS turned off.
On July 30, 2025, the United States imposed sanctions on the vessel.
