The main activities of Rosnefteflot JSC are the operation of a fleet of bunker tankers in the interests of Rosneft and RN-Bunker LLC, chartering of the tanker fleet in favor of Rosneft, provision of tug fleet services in the ports of Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Primorskoe, Tuapse, and Ust-Luga, organization of river transportation in the interests of Rosneft in the Volga-Don, Azov-Don, Volga and Volga-Baltic basins, emergency rescue duty, liquidation of emergency oil and oil products spills at the emergency rescue units in Nakhodka, Tuapse, designing and supervising the construction of ships in Rosneft's shipbuilding projects, inspecting ships for compliance with safe operation requirements.
Rosnefteflot manages 36 water transport units for various purposes, including tugs, sea and river tankers, rescue and salvage vessels, auxiliary vessels and passenger vessels, including 5 ice-class tankers and bunkerers, operating in the Baltic, Northern, Black Sea and Far East regions of russia for Rosneft and the company's subsidiary RN-Bunker, 17 tugs, 7 environmental support vessels on duty as part of emergency rescue teams. Also, during the navigation period, the company operates more than 150 river-sea oil tankers and barge-towing trains to ensure the export of fuel from Rosneft's refineries via inland waterways.
