Reasons
An offshore company affiliated with putin's close russian war criminal, restaurateur, catering business owner and owner of the ‘Wagner’ PMC, Evgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin (date of death - 23 August 2023), was established with the help of Alpha Consulting (Seychelles). Leaked documents obtained by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and studied as part of the 2021 Pandora Papers investigation show that Alpha helped set up Beratex in the Seychelles, with Prigozhin's elderly mother-in-law listed as the hidden beneficial owner. Alpha Consulting was involved in the creation of more than 900 entities in the UK, which were used to conceal the true owners, serving members of the inner circle of russian president putin. Beratex Group Limited was used by Prigozhin to manage his luxury property - a private jet (tail number M-VITO) and the yacht St.Vitamin. These company assets were used by Prigozhin's family.

The vessel was built in Spain by Astondoa, the 37.4m motor yacht is one of 4 122 GLX models. "St. Vitamin" is among the top 30% of LOA and top 30% of speed yachts in the world. Affiliated with the russian war criminal, restaurateur, owner of a catering business and PVK "Wagner" Evgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin (date of death - 23.08.2023). In 2022, Prigozhin admitted his involvement in the creation in 2014 of the "Wagner" private military company, recognized by a number of countries as a terrorist organization. Since 2014, PVK "Wagner" has operated on the territory of Ukraine, Syria and African countries, in coordination with the power structures of the russian federation, was armed with heavy equipment, artillery and military aircraft, and was financed from the budget of the russian federation. In 2014, the yacht was purchased by Beratex Group Limited (Seychelles), the owner was Yevgenia Prigozhina's mother-in-law. This information was established through a leak of documents accessed by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists as part of the Pandora Papers investigation in 2021. Beratex Group Limited also owned a private jet that was frequently used by the Prigozhin family. In September 2019, USA imposed sanctions on "St. Vitamin".
