The tanker, during the period of the G7+ oil embargo and the price cap policy on russian crude oil and petroleum products, has been involved in the export of russian crude oil and petroleum products from russian ports in the Black and Baltic Seas.
Specifically, in March 2026, the vessel exported over 674,000 barrels of petroleum products from the port of Taman to Singapore; the cargo seller was PJSC Oil Company "Rosneft" (under sanctions of the US, Canada, the EU, Switzerland, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Ukraine).
In December 2025, the vessel exported over 1 million barrels of Urals crude oil from the "Sheshkharis" terminal at the port of Novorossiysk to India. The Sheshkharis terminal is a transshipment complex and the terminus of the main pipelines of JSC Chernomortransneft (TIN 2315072242, under U.S. sanctions)—a subsidiary of the sanctioned russian PJSC Transneft (TIN 7706061801),
In October 2025, the tanker exported 720,000 barrels of Urals crude oil from the port of Primorsk to India on behalf of PJSC Oil Company "Rosneft".
In August 2025, the vessel exported over 1 million barrels of Urals crude oil from the port of Ust-Luga to India.
The vessel is involved in the oil sector of the russian federation’s economy, the profits from which are one of the most important sources of revenue for the aggressor state’s budget.
On April 29, 2026, Ukraine imposed sanctions on the tanker.
