Description:
In the center of the composition is a generational image of a young man standing with a drapery wrapped over his clothes. He is wearing a cap with a cockade. The figure is turned ¾ turn to the left, the head is in profile. The hands are behind his back. In front of him is a peasant, smiling, holding the edge of the drapery in his hand. Behind him is a young man smoking with a pistol. To the right is a group of peasants.
Under the print with a graphite pencil: "4/25 Illustration to the novel by A. Golovko "Weeds". Signed and dated by the author: 59. On the back in the lower right corner: "Selivanov I.M. Illustration to Golovko's novel "Weeds" Tikhon is Bound" reg. no. 20359-b inv. no. 9118-b.
Yellowing and general soiling of the sheet. In the margins along the top edge - traces of mounting, glue stains.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
