A corner of a snowy winter street. In the foreground, to the right, is a horse harnessed to a small sleigh. In the sled, a pitman and a man in a top hat; in the center, three horses moving to the left, harnessed to a sleigh with a kibitz. Behind the three, to the right, is a man with a ladder. In the background, to the left, is a 1-story house with a clock on the facade and 3 windows with openwork lattices. A large 1-storey building on a high foundation adjoins the house on the left; behind the roofs of the houses on the left is a 5-domed church, on the right is a church with a spire. The composition is on the left. A corner of a snowy courtyard. In the foreground, to the left of the center, is a girl with laundry on a rocker, facing a woman and a girl, to the right is a boy and a girl on a sled. To the right behind the fence are bushes with bare branches and part of a building wall. In the background is the facade of a building divided into two parts by a drainpipe. There are two rows of windows on the right side and three on the left. There is a female figure in the door on the left.
