Description:
In a dark room, three young girls are sitting at a table in front of a TV screen. The girls are wearing white sweaters. The figures and the table are brightly lit. Near the right edge, on the table, the girl is kneeling, leaning on her right hand, her left hand bent at the elbow, the fingers of her outstretched palm on the table. In addition to a sweater, the girl is wearing blue denim pants. The head is shown in profile to the left. Facial features: slightly protruding cheekbones, straight thin nose, large eyes, full lips. Dark brown hair is gathered at the back of her head. On the right, the girl is sitting at a table. She is facing the front. Her arms are bent at the elbows on the table. Facial features: elongated oval with a heavy chin, straight nose, large brown almond-shaped eyes, full lips. Hairstyle: black thick hair parted in a straight parting, raised from the ears, gathered at the back of the head, with a thick bang on the forehead. On the left is a girl sitting, leaning on a vertical support (back of a chair or bed). Her elbows are hanging down, her palms are on the vertical support. The head is turned to the left in profile. Facial features: high, straight forehead, slightly protruding chin, straight small nose, narrow lips, large eyes, thick black eyebrows. Hair: long straight hair, combed into a straight parting. In front of the girls (near the left edge of the painting) is a TV set that stands on a horizontal plane. On the light screen: "Today in the World". There is an open book on the table. The figures and the table are brightly lit and stand out in contrast against the dark brown background. In the upper left corner of the canvas in black paint: "Ksenia Nechytailo "Peace and Youth". x. m. 130x180. 1986". On the upper side of the stretcher in graphite pencil: 2 (in a circle), to the right VHPO Zh-4137, to the right with paint 1306/89. Everywhere small drops of white and dark brown paint, minor abrasions. In the lower right corner there is a 3.5 cm scratch with loss of paint layer and soil. Deformation of the canvas in the upper corners.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
