Description:
A genre composition. Close-up of people walking toward the viewer. On the left is an old man with a gray beard and two loaves of bread in his right hand, and a black rosary in his left hand near his chest. He is dressed in a light shirt with an open front, a jacket over his shoulders, and a skullcap on his head. To the right are a couple of young people, a girl in white pants and a green T-shirt. Her head is turned ¾ to the right, her right hand is in her pants pocket, her left hand is holding a handbag near her shoulder. Next to her is a young man in yellowish pants, naked to the waist. He has a T-shirt in his left hand, and his right hand is on the girl's shoulder. Behind them, to the left of the middle, is a woman wearing a large black scarf covering her head, shoulders and part of her face. Things are tied on her head in the scarf. To the right is a fuzzy image of a boy in red on a donkey. In the background to the left and center are ochre-brown slopes of gentle mountains with cars in the center (given by a black silhouette). On the right, two boats are shown on a yellowish-ochre river on a small scale. Above - a narrow strip of yellowish sky. Zh-1282 Abdulayev.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
