Description:
Still life. To the right, on a brownish-gray ground, is a grayish-gray bucket with a bunch of large yellow-ochre semi-closed flowers on tall thick stems with large silvery-green leaves and a branch with large light brown racemose inflorescences. On the left, on a light pink drapery, is a low rounded dark gray ceramic pot with a bunch of yellow wildflowers on long branched stems. In the middle (in front) is a large gray-brown horn. At the bottom right is the author's signature and date: "G.Z. Kryzhev 73". On the back of the canvas at the top is the inscription: "Kryzhevsky Hryhorii Zynovievych 1918 Odesa "Steppe Flowers". 95 x 75 x m. 1973". On the stretcher at the top of the inscription: №468 94.7 x 75".

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
