Description:
Six compositions separated from each other by snow-covered poles. In the bottom center is a rostral column. Around it, on the embankment, is a crowd walking. In the background is a river frozen with ice. To the right is a stone bridge over the river. To the left, on the ice, is a pavilion, a jogging path surrounded by spectators. In the background are the palace buildings.
Other compositions are arranged in an arc around the central composition from left to right. Composition 1 is a part of a skating rink with skating audience. In the foreground is a full-length image from the back of a man, his head is half-turned, the figure is turned to the right, his left leg is set back, his right leg is bent at the knee. 2nd composition: diagonally from left to right, a snow-covered street with a sleigh and a rider rushing along it. To the right are spectators watching the runner. In the background to the left is a rostral column against the background of 2- and 3-story buildings. 3rd composition: in the center are three horses harnessed to a sleigh and surrounded by a crowd. In the sleigh is a man holding a raised glass in his right hand. Composition 4: In the center of a snowy square is a sleigh with reindeer. A group of spectators is gathered around the plague. In the background, on the right, there is a building with a dome and a flag on top, and on the left, a three-story palace building. 5 composition: a group of people in the clothes of the northern peoples.
Condition: General soiling, stains of iron bacteria, leaks, kinks in the center, insect excrement, glue marks in the corners.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
