Description:
Multi-figure composition. Front view. In the center are three men in dark coats with red bandages over their shoulders. On the left is a military man in a military uniform. In the background are two: in the center and on the right with red flags in their hands. On the left is a red canvas with a portrait of V. I. Lenin. The background is the Kremlin wall. Signed from the bottom right: "Y. Vaisburh 1969" ("Ю. Вайсбург 1969"). From the bottom on the frame is the passport of Directorate of Art Exhibitions of Ukraine listed No. 17979. Near the right edge, almost in the center, there is a swelling of the canvas 5x5 cm. From below, near the edge, the loss of the paint layer is 1x1 cm.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
