Description:
The sheet unites three compositions. Above in ovals. On the right is a depiction of a Summer Garden; in the foreground is a fenced area, with a gentleman and a lady seated at a table on the left, a lady in a lush long dress on the right, and a group of ladies and gentlemen on the right. In the background, among the trees, there are figures of walking people; in the background, a pond with an arched bridge over it. The oval frame is surrounded by garlands of flowers and tree branches. In the oval on the left is an image of water, in the foreground is a part of a ship, to the right on the water are 3 boats, in the background on the right is a dock with a ship launching, in the background are city buildings with the domes of the cathedral in the centre. Between the upper compositions there is an anchor, crossed oars, and bogs. Lower composition: horizontally - a wide strip of water, in the foreground to the left - the embankment with a gentle three-stage descent to the water. On the stairs, in front of the barrier, there are figures of people, behind the barrier - tall masts of ships. In the foreground to the right are 5 ships on the water. In the background, in the centre, two single-masted vessels decorated with flags, with boats to their right and left. In the background, to the left and right of the centre, near the river bank, are rostral columns. The facade of a building with columns is visible between the columns. To the right and left are city buildings. Below the image: "A skiff race on the Neva River, in St. Petersburg, 21 May 1860."

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
