The person participated in excavations: "Gleiki Settlement", "Kamenka Settlement", "Koktebel Settlement", "Group of 5 barrows" (site #4041), "Ancient City of Chersonesos Tavrichesky and its Chora".

As the director of the State Historical and Archaeological Reserve "Chersonesos Tavriya" (TOT of Ukraine):
- organises illegal archaeological excavations on the territory of the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea;
- assists with financing archaeological expeditions;
- supports and participates in cultural and scientific conferences, seminars and other events aimed at propaganda and implantation of imperialist narratives.
- is responsible for the museum's illegal construction on the territory of the UNESCO monument "The Ancient City of Chersonesos Tavriya and its Chora" and in its buffer zone.

From 2018 to 2019, he received 3 permits, and from 2021 to 2024 - 5 permits from the Ministry of Culture of the russian federation for illegal archaeological work on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. Solovyov is the head of several archaeological expeditions that have been operating in the occupied territories of Ukraine since 2014. In order to conduct excavations and alienate cultural property, Solovyov sent requests to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation annually during 2014-2023 to obtain open letters for organising and conducting such activities. Solovyov also appealed to the heads of the Institute of Historical and Cultural Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Hermitage Museum to assist him in obtaining such open letters for archaeological excavations in the occupied territories of Ukraine. In particular, Solovyov carried out excavations on the territory of the Archaeological Monument of Ukraine "Ancient City of Acra" (Naberezhne village, Leninsky district), the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Ancient City of Chersonesos Tavriya and its Chora" (Sevastopol), and the cultural heritage site ‘Memorial Complex of Monuments to the Defence of the City of 1854-1855 "Historical Boulevard" (Sevastopol).

From 2014 to 2019 received 15 permits, and in 2023 - 27 permits from the Ministry of Culture of the russian federation for illegal archaeological work on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. He participated in the excavations of the Ancient City of Chersonesos Tavriya and its Chora.

In 2015, received 1 permit, and from 2020 to 2023 - 6 permits from the Ministry of Culture of the russian federation for illegal archaeological work on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. She participated in the excavations of the Ancient City of Chersonesos Tavriya and its Chora.

From 2016 to 2018, received 5 permits from the Ministry of Culture of the russian federation for illegal archaeological work on the territory occupied Crimean peninsula. He participated in the excavations of "the Necropolis near the southwestern defence line of the Chersonese settlement", "the Necropolis of Pisochna Bay" in the Gagarin district of Sevastopol, and "the Ancient City of Chersonesos Tavriya and its Chora".
