Description:
In the centre of the composition are the figures of a barefooted young man (left) and a girl (right) flying. The figure of the young man is depicted from the back, in a ¾ turn to the right, bent forward; his right leg is almost straight, his left leg is bent at the knee, his head is turned back (light blond hair); his left arm is extended forward and upwards, his right arm is above his head. He is wearing a grey shirt and grey-green trousers. The figure of a girl in a light green dress, viewed from the back, leans towards the young man. Her right arm, curved in an arc, is raised upwards (her hand is next to the boy's), her left arm is held to the side, bent at the elbow. Long golden hair is thrown to the left. The background is in grey-blue and grey-green tones with images of houses under sharp gable roofs. On the surface of the water are reflections of the houses and the sky with clouds and gaps in the centre.
At the bottom right is a monogram: "KD 73".
On the crosspiece of the stretcher there is a sticker: "HF Latvian SSR No. Kp-2-15103", sticker: "SSF OF THE USSR № 3799".
On the top is a glass-graph inscription: "Latvian SSR, Daugavpils, 6-45 Energetikov ave.", below: "No. 3799 DV USSR", left: "Agreement with the USSR East", right: "Dobrais Karlis Avgustovich - 1943 "By Seven Miles" central part 1973 cm. 150х140.
At the top, along the entire edge, there is a fragmentary scratch with exposed soil, in the upper right corner there is a 2 cm diameter dent; around the rim there are cracks 15 cm in diameter, in the middle and in the upper left corner there are creases. In the lower part, in the centre of the crumbling paint layer. General soiling of the canvas.

Description of the incident location
It was opened on May 27, 1978, in the former City Hall building, an architectural monument of the early 20th century. As of 2022 (before the robbery), the museum's collection included more than 13 thousand works of art and was one of the most interesting museum collections in Ukraine. It includes works of Ukrainian and foreign painting, graphics, sculpture, and decorative and applied arts. From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the Kherson Art Museum was looted by the russian occupiers, and more than 10,000 of its most valuable exhibits were stolen. The cargo was sent to Crimea, and the works (all or part of them) ended up in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida. It is unknown whether everything is still there.
