SAIFULLIN Rustam Galievich

He is an ambassador for a joint project between the russian Paralympic committee and the all-russian public movement "Healthy Fatherland" called "Heroes of Our Time", which aims to assist participants in the so-called SMO who have become disabled in physical rehabilitation and social adaptation through Paralympic sports, as well as involving them in the sports movement.
A direct participant in the war against Ukraine, a colonel in the russian armed forces, a hero of russia, he fought as part of the occupation forces in Chechnya, Syria, and Georgia. From the very first days, he took part in the war against Ukraine, commanding the 40th engineer-sapper regiment of the 41st combined arms army of the Central military district of the russian armed forces.
In 2022, by putin's decree, he was awarded the title of hero of the russian federation and received the star of hero of russia personally from defense minister sergei shoigu.
He also works closely with the "Defenders of the Fatherland" foundation in giving lectures to veterans of the so-called special military operation.
At the interregional Defenders of the Fatherland Cup, he led a team of veterans of the special military operation from the Tyumen region, won the table tennis competition, and took silver in powerlifting.
