He participated in joint training camps for veterans of the so-called SMO and the national team.
A direct participant in the war against Ukraine, a career officer, lieutenant colonel of the russian armed forces, he was chief of staff and deputy commander of the 1060th separate logistics battalion (military unit 55443) of the 106th airborne division of the Southern military district of the russian armed forces, which took part in the offensive on the Kyiv region, and also served in the 104th airborne assault division, which is currently stationed in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.
He currently remains in the ranks of the russian armed forces and continues to serve in the Tula military commissariat.
