Reasons
He took direct part in the war against Ukraine in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region as a commander of an automatic grenade launcher unit as part of the Soyuz military volunteer detachment, founded in December 2022 on the basis of the russian Martial Arts Union (RSBI) from "internationally recognized masters of sports, honored masters of sports, first-class martial artists" who went to war in Ukraine.
For his service in the so-called "SMO", he was awarded the medal "For Courage" by the First Deputy Chief of Staff of the russian Presidential Administration and founder of the RSBI, Sergey Kiriyenko.
He is a participant in the special project "Time of Heroes," launched by putin's order on February 29, 2024, during an address to the Federal Assembly, which aims to train highly qualified, competent leaders from among the participants of the so-called "SMO" for further work in state and municipal authorities, as well as state-owned companies.
As a member of the Legislative Duma of the Khabarovsk Territory, he supports the so-called "participants of the SMO" and their families.
As the executive director of the Khabarovsk Krai branch of the RSBI, he helped rename two children's sports and patriotic clubs in honor of the fallen members of the so-called "SMO".
