TARASOV Sergey Sergeyevich

Author of a competition entry focused on machining technologies for powerplant components of special-purpose equipment. In his dissertation, he developed original models, conducted experiments, and established a methodology for turning curved surfaces of disks and ring-shaped gas turbine engine (GTE) components made from heat-resistant alloys. He combines industrial and educational responsibilities: the workshop under his management serves as an experimental and technological unit of the enterprise, while the academic department trains specialized engineers. Machining disks and low-rigidity powerplant components is a dual-use technology.
