GARBUK Sergey Vladimirovich

Garbuk's research covers artificial intelligence standardization and safety, information security of critical infrastructure, space-based information systems, and radar technologies. He has an extensive body of publications under his name. In particular, in an article published in the journal "Military Thought" (Voyennaya Mysl), he personally formulated a comprehensive set of requirements covering the entire life cycle of weapons, military and special-purpose equipment incorporating artificial intelligence, including the allocation of requirements among subsystems and principles of conformity assessment.

Participation in international cooperation:
- As Chairman of Technical Committee 164 (TC 164), he is personally associated with a russian-Indian project on conformity assessment of artificial intelligence systems in cooperation with the Chamber for Indo Russo Technology Collaboration, the project envisages the development of unified documentation and the establishment of a joint testing laboratory;
- Permanent representative of russia to ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42 (Artificial Intelligence);
- Member of the Supervisory Board of the International Institute of STEM Education (Shanghai, China).
