BURENOK Vasily Mikhailovich

He is a Major General, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and professor. He serves as a leading expert in the theory, methodology, and program-targeted planning of the development of the entire weapons system of the russian armed forces.
He combines scientific and organizational leadership of the russian academy of missile and artillery sciences (RARAN) with work on the scientific justification of priority directions in armaments, military and special equipment development. He participated directly in the formation of the russian Military Doctrine, state armaments programs, and the fundamentals of military-technical policy.
He is the author of specialized monographs on strategic deterrence, integration of non-traditional weapon systems, and general-purpose combat means. As the head of a key defense academy and contributor to state armament programs, he is involved in forming the scientific and technical base and nomenclature of missile and artillery systems, which are being used on a massive scale by russian forces to conduct combat operations and strikes on Ukrainian territory.
