FEDERAL STATE AUTONOMOUS EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION "NATIONAL RESEARCH NUCLEAR UNIVERSITY "MEPHI"

The University maintains close ties with Rosatom Corporation, which directly cooperates with russia's military-industrial complex. University students undertake internships at Rosatom enterprises and have opportunities for subsequent employment.
The institution trains personnel for russia's military-industrial complex in cooperation with JSC Research and Production Corporation Uralvagonzavod, which manufactures tanks and other armored vehicles used in the aggression against Ukraine.
The University actively implements programs to support participants in the so-called "special military operation" (SMO). Preferential admission places are provided for students.
In March 2022, students of the Volgodonsk Engineering and Technical Institute of the National Research Nuclear University MIFI (VITI NDYaU MIFI) organized a flash mob titled "Z - For Victory" in support of the so-called "special operation on the territory of Ukraine".
