He systematically supports russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and glorifies the war crimes of the occupiers, supports putin's policies and the kremlin regime. During the 2018 presidential election, he became a member of the putin Team movement, which supports putin. On his official Telegram channel, he published a birthday greeting to putin. After the start of russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, he repeatedly participated in mass events in support of the russian military invaders. In particular, he spoke during a propaganda rally-concert in honor of the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea called "For a world without Nazism! For russia! For the President", which took place on March 18, 2022 at the Luzhniki Stadium. On September 30, 2022, he took part in the rally-concert "People's Choice. Together Forever", dedicated to the so-called ‘accession’ of the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine to russia. In December 2022, he took part in a propaganda concert in Moscow and donated 1 million rubles of his own money to the needs of the russian armed forces. In November 2024, as a co-host, he took part in a charity concert of the federal project "Heroes of Our Time", which was held with the assistance of the United russia political party, including to support military personnel, law enforcement officers and their families. On June 14, 2023, during a press conference of the russian media holding russian Media Group at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, together with Yulia Baranovska, Grigory Lepsveridze, Elena Severgina, and the head of the russian Media Group, Vladimir Kiselev, announced the decision to pay the russian military a monetary reward of 700 thousand/1 million rubles for the destruction of Leopard 1/Leopard2 battle tanks that were transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by Western partners. The russian military received certificates for this award in November 2023 at the Golden Gramophone National Music Award ceremony. He has repeatedly visited the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine with speeches in support of the occupation authorities and the kremlin regime.
