He is the author of numerous fakes and disinformation about "biological weapons from the DNA of Ukrainian soldiers", "front-line escorts of Zaluzhny", "introduction of donor blood from HIV-infected people to soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine", "descendants of Nazis among officials in Kyiv", etc.
In 2022, he received 7.5 million rubles from the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives for the implementation of the project "Charitable Creative Meetings: Conversations about the Most Important Things with Igor Prokopenko" - a series of lectures about the war against Ukraine, with which he visited, including the temporarily occupied Crimea.
He publicly campaigned for putin in the 2024 presidential elections, publishing his own photo from the polling station on his own account on the VK social network with the caption: "Was at the elections! Voted for putin! For victory!".
